In order to make a month-long “Khet Bachao Abhiyan”, starting from June 1, 2026, KVK Churachandpur initiated nationwide farmer support drive with the objectives to save soil, reduce costs, and promote sustainable agriculture. The programme was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Manoj Kumar Pandey, Sr. Scientist & Head, ICAR-KVK Churachandpur at New Cannan village, Churachandpur district. All together 30 farmers attended the programme. The Chairman of the village Sh. Akhu Kamei expressed his happiness towards the endeavours put forth by ICAR-KVK Churachandpur and further ensured more and better cooperation in carrying out other agricultural activities for the welfare of farming community in the region. Different line departments attended the programme in convergence mode. Subject Experts of different discipline explained their views during the technical session.
